Yup, you read it right. I removed myself from WSO training yesterday (weapons systems officer) for a multitude of reasons. The biggest one being I loathe military flying. I think the majority of that stems from not beingin control of the airplane you are in. Zate should have the biggest idea of what I am talking about as well as Al since they both hav some flying experience in one capacity or another. I will still fly civilian aircraft in my free time and finish working on my private rating so I can rent planes and or buy one to scare the shit out of people.

My other true love has always been with the law enforcement community, but right now USAF security forces are manned 267 percent for Lieutenents..so I most likely will not be going there. I am putting in for OSI, office of special investigations, but they only take like 3 a year. I will most likely be sent to space and missiles training to dick around with sattelites and sit in a missile silo or they will send me to Intel training, two critically undermanned fields in the USAF right now. I am leaning towards space and missiles since the school is only 6 months and it allows me to get over to security forces easier than Intel. Probably leave the USAF in a few years and go be a cop somewhere, I still have a BA in criminology and they are usually not too picky on past military service.
