Moving from STL to the Tampa area
Hey guys. My name is Pete. I'm in the process of trying to find employment in the Tampa area (before I move down there). As soon as I do, I'll be looking to meet some like-minded people, as I only know 2 people that live in Florida.
The car: 02 Firebird Formula 6-speed. Full boltons, Nitto 555s, 4.10 gears.
Me: 26 yr old car guy. I love playing pool, bourbon, and cooking.
Past cars: '89 Olds Cutlass Calais (Quad 4), '91 Supra (NA car gone 1jz swap), '91 Mr2 NA, 2000 Camaro M5
Any advice on trying to find a career down there and/or housing arrangements would be MUCH appreciated. I have an MBA and some retail experience (Sears, car sales).
I've been a member on a couple of Missouri forums (STLSR and 417racing) and I've discovered that if you don't know anyone in the car community, forums are the way to go.
Let the flaming begin.
