Holy bat auctions! One of the most iconic television cars of all time is up for sale. George Barris is selling the one and only original Batmobile at Barrett-Jackson! The only 1955 Lincoln Futura concept car, heavily modified by legendary customizer George Barris became the original 1966 Batmobile in the live action TV series Batman as well as the movie adaptation.

This car has travelled to many car shows.
The original Batmobile has been a part of Barris' personal collection since he first bought it from the Ford Motor Company for a dollar in 1965. Check it out on the Speed Channel

Some people had the honor and privilege of meeting Mr. Barris at the annual Florida Hot Rods & Hogs car and bike show December 2, 2012.
