hey man i think that it might be the amp. what year is your car and how old is the alternator? i think that the amp is sucking all the power out of the alternator and i think that is why there is the "in and out" instance. i think that or a loose wire somewhere, perhaps in the amp itself. if you checked all of the wiring, try to test it with another amp. u may need to get a capacitor. if u check the amp and all the wiring and everything checks out it is probable the alternator/power supply. gell cell is in your future perhaps, or even a capacitor? i have a capacitor brand new in box if that is the case. let me kno i helped at all.

I'm not sure but I think I may have just found my problem. I do have a 1.0 Fared Stinger capacitor, But as we speak I'm tearing my components out and found some brown syrupie stuff on the bottom of the Cap, Could it be leaking something? Could that be my problem all this time?
Also I've noticed that when I let off the gas my volts meter on the cap reads 14.1ish, But when I give the car gas (both day and night) the volts drop to 12.2 and lower in some instances.
If I'm not getting enough juice to the amps...could that be the reason the sub pops and the highs fade out at times?
Man...I wish someone with more knowledge about stereos could physicaly help me out.
I'm in Spring Hill, The only people that know anything around here is AVS, And they are so damn expensive.
The Holidays killed my wallet and I'm slowly getting back on my feet financially,, I don't need these headaches right now.....Damnit!
Anyway, Thanks for everyones help, I think I'm about to just tear everything out and say screw it!
