I replaced the RCA's coming from my EQ to my Amp for the Sub, Since that fix I haven't had it happen again.
I do have another question though, That’s Amp related;
Can a single channel on an Amp go in and out whenever it wants?
My highs on just my drivers side keep fading out, It seems to be when I'm on a long trip, Like more then 20 minutes of driving.
It may be coincidence but that’s when it seems to happen.
All my door highs are connected to a RF amp, The passenger side never fades but the left side seems to always be the culprit...
Any Ideas?
hey man i think that it might be the amp. what year is your car and how old is the alternator? i think that the amp is sucking all the power out of the alternator and i think that is why there is the "in and out" instance. i think that or a loose wire somewhere, perhaps in the amp itself. if you checked all of the wiring, try to test it with another amp. u may need to get a capacitor. if u check the amp and all the wiring and everything checks out it is probable the alternator/power supply. gell cell is in your future perhaps, or even a capacitor? i have a capacitor brand new in box if that is the case. let me kno i helped at all.
