I personally think rice is more of a state of mind than physical thing..although there are a couple "mods" that are just rice anyway you look at them (ie, fake performance parts, tacky wings, unpainted kits, etc. etc.)

Some people care nothing about being fast..so they focus on building a show car, and I don't think that's necessarily rice at all...as long as it's tastfeful and clean. I know I can't afford to build a race car...let alone keep it up.
