For sale is a 1990 Mercury Marquis. This was my grandmother's car which was only used for short trips to and from the store. The odometer reads 66K miles but the odometer broke awhile back. The car has some asthetic issues from sitting out in the elements such as areas of rust and fading from the sun and not all the bells and whistles work anymore but it seems mechanically sound. It has a 302 with auto tranmission in it. The only thing I noticed with the engine is the valve covers are leaking a little and the gas guage doesn't work. Both are rather cheap fixes if you know what you are doing. You might find other things if you look at it.....it is what it is. It had new parts put in the air conditioning system, new tires, new radiator, new tires, and a new starter solenoid installed recently. The interior is rather clean aside from some of the fabric falling victim to sun rot. It isn't a show queen(it's not embarassing to be seen in) but it should get you from A to B reliably with cold A/C. This would also be a good second car while you are putting your street machine together.
