Alignments
You mentioned aligning.
I have the portable set up for doing alignments
at race tracks, parking lots and anywhere the surface is flat. Same setup they use for indy cars....there are no alignment shops at the 500.
There is more to alignment than setting toe-in. There is a range of alignment that will not eat your tires yet will give you good grip in the turns. Usually I set alignments on the performance side of
factory specs.......everything is a compromise, though.
Vortex motorsports has/had a very sophisticated alignment rack and at one time a good alignment guy. Since then....Changes in ownership....I haven't been out there lately.
I was at the Porsche Dealers cars and coffee sometime back. Saw Dave White, owner of what is now Vortex. He was wearing a shirt that said Chilli's Automotive. You might look them up. -Bob
