My forks aren't really dialed in at all and may even be on or close to factory settings. I tried to get a hold Chad Wolf before my trip but he's been under the radar.
Regardless, the factory forks are sprung for a rider under 200 lbs so I am under sprung.
Between the pilot pures and new shock my confidence is up but now I can feel the softness in the front.
I can still push some as long as its not too bumpy.
My original plan was to get ohlins cartridges so i could keep my black fork tubes. I don't want much gold on the bike. However they stopped making them for this year. It probably would of been overkill for me as its primarily my street bike with maybe 1 trackday a year.
So now my goal is ohlins springs, oil, Supersport 20mm valve kit, GP suspension Compression Needles and micro polish the fork tubes.
Unless your a hardcore racer searching for every tenth you won't notice a difference with this set up.
Suspension and light weight wheels is the most bang for your buck mod you can do for your bike.
Another thing I will mention is this bike is overkill in the mountains. The moment your on the gas you have to let off and brake because the next corner comes very fast. Super moto, 600's or vtwin superbikes ftw up there.
