Loren,
Looks like you are getting it together.
Don't get bummed out by the turnout. A little like some of the import meets
which I go to, the fun we have is not related to number of people attending.
I hope you will leave this thread unlocked so that people can post their
experiences at your first rallye as a way of encouraging others to come out
for your next one.

On another subject,
I've seen other clubs hold what they called "Fun Rallyes" on other non-TSD
nights as a way of introducing people to terminology and following a route.
With a reduced entry fee, scoring was based on mileage and questions asked
along the route.......a little less work to put on than a TSD rallye.
People would draw for starting numbers as a way of discouraging the Lamborghini
hot-rodders from blasting off with a low number and getting the event shut down.
Instructions used non-alterable landmarks/signs.
Bump for your thread....looking forward to hearing of your experiences.-Bob

Total run-time start-to-finish is 97 minutes (that info won't help you win or anything... it's broken up into 3 legs), so with a start time of 8pm, we'll be wrapped up by about 10pm.
Surf Shack is expecting us, and even provided some gift certificates for the winners!
One final test-run of the route to do sometime next week, then all will be ready. I'm kinda stoked! Would be more stoked with a few more entries.
