7 months since a posting or update........
Some posters use TR to publicize their facebook site and then they disappear.
Each time a person posts to say the meet did not take place,
or to ask if it is still alive, it moves the post to the top and someone
else will post that the meet did not take place and so on and on......
So......if a person will PM the organizer, or
quit posting that the meet isn't happening then it will sink
to the bottom and the next guy won't get suckered in...... LOL

Senor Honda's General principles of keeping a meet going.
Based on an observation of meets that come and go
and discussions at a lot of the meets which I go to..............
1.If a person expects people to come out to a recurring weekly meet,
the meet organizer/sponsor needs to keep the thread active.
2.One way to keep a thread active is by posting every week, so people
know that at least the organizer/an associate/sponsor supports the meet and
will be there. When an organizer doesn't show, people don't show.
3.A second way to keep a thread active is by posting up pictures of people
and/or cars every week as a way of showing that the meet is still active.
4.Sometimes someone needs to post during the meeting week so people know if
the meet is on or off. When people show up a couple times with no one there, their
perception is that the meeting is no longer being held.....and they won't be back
until they see another posting from someone running the meet.
5.Examples available only in face to face conversation. See you at the meets
and keep checking the first couple pages of TR Local Events.-Bob
