I totally feel you on your points Cordite. Same kind of crap in the Nissan tech section.
The drifter section has better stickies for 240s than the nissan section does for crying out loud.
The 240sx "bible" is in the drifter section. WTF?

The whole forum is based off of the Tech sections, and sections like Pit Road were supposed to be bonus areas, but over the last while, pit road became the focus and everything else was just left to fall apart as it will.
I understand the top dogs had their own lives to handle but at the same time, it really falls to the ones at the top when things fall apart. There was an entire hierarchy in place for that reason. The tech section mods should have been more concerned with keeping the sections active and relevant instead of locking threads because the answer could be found on google. Even now that the general traffic is less, having well laid out stickies and loads of information would keep the tech sections relevant. It would even help bring people in because those stickies should be coming up on google.

it is unfortunate that the users tried to do things, much like like what you were saying in Mazda tech, to really save the site, but were held up by higher ups of the site.
Now, the site is owned by a "faceless internet giant" and there is serious doubt that it will ever be able to cast a shadow in comparison to the glory days of TR.
Which sucks.
I miss the active forums, and the meets and all of that.
