Which would mean the suspension, or at least, the general geometry, is identical between the two cars too, right?

If that is the case, then it would be a simple matter of springs and shocks making the two cars handle differently, right?
By that point, simply switching springs and shocks around would make them drive identically, and considering aftermarket struts and lowering springs are pretty common place, assuming you use the same parts of both cars, wouldn't that negate any handling differences as well?
