Street Party:
This is for folks willing to drive south of the skyway.
I was down your way last Monday. and I plan to be there again, Friday 6 July. I've sometimes heard that folks down south don't always enjoy driving over the skyway as much as I do.

In Palmetto Florida, just South of the river as you enter Manatee County. July 6th will be the first Friday meet. This is going to be a street party, a meet and a car show!

The location will be the legendary honest-to-gosh 12,000 square foot "Slick's Garage" "as seen on TV" at the corner of 5th Avenue and Old Main Street. No joke. Two parking lots for cars and streets will be blocked off. 923 5th St West Palmetto Florida. 941-776-7298 You gotta see this place. They really build the cars that are on TV. Check on Youtube if you want to see the shop.

Live on stage.....music will be Deacon Street Band and you can hit the internet to see their style of music.

Starts at 5PM. Awards around 830PM. $5 to show a car. No spectator fee. No hang out fee. Food is from local food vendors. 50/50 raffle and Free Tattoo giveaway.......you read that right, buddy...free tattoo giveaway.....

I was down there Monday July 2nd. They work on lots of cars, so expect to see some Chevy's in the car show. If you like imports, you can park next to ME.-Bob
