I didnt blame anyone or even hint towards it in anyway when simply posting that my car is down do to crank walk.
If its Jerry's opinion that the mechanic made a built error and its his right to have that opinion. But don't say a mechanic just uses the parts you give him. That just retarded and you know it. They are supposed to advice you on what's needed to fix the car and how much it will cost. They tell you what needs done, they are the expert not the customer. I for one am not a mechanic. I supplied a crank and bearings that were approved. I then ordered what I was told to order for him to do the job. I dont know why it walked so fast and don't care to guess. Just about every person I know with a built motor used a used crank that measured out with new bearings. The simple fact that clearances were never checked does bother me though. I'm sure that's just me.
