not sure,maybe to another wire?it was an intermittant problem so that kind of threw me off the trail.BTW did you know you can order online from advance auto,pick up your parts or have them sent to your house(free!)and get a % off depending on how much you order?it should have cost me $100 for cap,rotor,wires,plugs,and air filter and i got it all for 64 bucks including tax.
