I've done a DSM rack and an s14 rack...its pretty straight forward. Just figure out how to pull it apart and change all the seals. Usually the housing will be staked, so you have to find the stake and grind/drill it out...unscrew the cap and pull the guts out. Dont scratch anything...figure out how to get the seals out and replace. When you put the new seals on you're supposed to heat them before you install them. For the seal that the teeth on the rack go through, put a piece of thin plastic or something on the inside of the seal to protect it during install.
