You're coupe and your buddies hatch would be very nice additions to the museum.

Life took a bunch of strange turns but we're doing great now. I decided to go to nursing school. I got done (with the first round at least) and recently started working at a great place down in Clearwater/Belleair.

I still play with cars, just no fords for now. I got back into my first love which is air cooled VW's when the street racing laws changed a few years ago. I first started with this.

I welded the frame together from a kit, did all the rest of the work, and we've been having a blast ever since. I'm working on a new car now which will either be 3 or 4 seats and have a turbo Ecotec 4 cylinder in it and be a long travel suspension setup.

I then got this from a buddy and did basically everything to it.

I re-did all of the suspension, swapped it over to air bags, everything. Just trying to decide on a direction for paint and a few other things.

Then, my wife wanted something to drive, and we wanted something to pull the buggy to the woods and go camping in, so we picked up this.

It's very solid underneath, just has some minor rust issues body work wise, bought it with a locked up motor, which was no big deal since the stock 68hp motor just wouldn't do. I swapped a GM Ecotec 2.2 into it, added a radiator underneath, bent up the coolant lines, did the electrical work for the conversion, etc. It's awesome, it sounds like a GM Cobalt when you start it up. The computer controls the cooling fan, fuel pump, etc, so it clicks and clacks when you hit the key, then idles like stock. Runs at 190 degrees going down the road and gets 22mpg.

So I'm still playing, just nothing fast or Ford for now. I still miss the good ole days, but they are gone, so I don't mind having moved on

I saw you mention you were a vendor at the NMRA race a little while back. What are you selling?
