As for A-zones warranty, I got something with a 3 year warranty.

When it went bad at 14 months , I bought another one and took the old one in to do the warranty paperwork.
I said: "I guess I get paperwork that says this brand new one has a 3 year warranty also."

Counterman says: "No, the warranty is only good for the original part's time period."

I said: "Are you telling me that this new part already has 14 months of it's 3 year warranty used up?"

Counterman says: "Yep!"

I said: "I guess you realize that the next time this part goes out, that I will buy the next one from the dealer."

Counterman says nothing.
I bought a new one from the dealer, Carried it in the car until the replacement item went bad.
I did not buy another one from A-zone. -Bob
