Adding to that...
After the heat destroyed my stock fans I moved the fans outside the radiator.
I took the maximum width of my radiator and the height. I got the largest two fans I could find
that would fit that space, slightly trimmed the housings to get them closer together, since there
was a slight outside overhang from the radiator.
I then wired the fans to make 'em both a pusher. I removed the metal bumper from behind
the plastic cover and trimmed it for clearance around the fans.
I hole-sawed and neatly trimmed the edges of the largest hole I could fit within the vertical
curve of the plastic bumper cover, and drilled the holes next to each other from side to side
only in front of the radiator.
I formed a metal screen over all the holes to conform to the bumper shape and painted it the same
color as the car so it appears to be an unmodified bumper to the casual observer.
In case I have to pull that bumper cover again, even to put on another car or replace a
t-signal bulb, I made three braces and two quick release pins at the sides for easy accessibility.
Thank goodness we don't all think alike... LOL -Bob

A 14in max single is not going to be able to keep a SBC cool tho for a single you would need a 16in minimum for a single and a 18in would be better. Most fan applications for a SBC are dual 14in and move about 3000-4000 CFM.
