Some background:
Heading South on US19 coming back from a great time at you-know-where,
I saw in my 5 panel rear view mirror, a black dot moving up really fast in the
left-most lane. Anything moving faster than me is usually the cops or is about
to have the cops chasing them.

Some people reading this post can attest to
that fact...... LOL
As it passed, I saw it was a rounded body roadster/convertable and had Audi emblems.
The back end had horizontal air vents to the sides of the license plate......maybe to
let air out of the car or maybe some sort of ground effects to improve the cars
aerodynamics. The car's front looked like it had an Audi emblem above a grill
opening on the rounded body.
I pulled to his right at the traffic light where I was going straight and he was turning left
on an undisclosed road heading East. The entire car appeared to have a black
carbon fiber body.
I asked through my open window: "Where did you get the carbon fiber?"
He said: "I don't have time to talk." Instantly as the light went green he lit the tires as
he was turning left. It was then that I noticed a LOT of red and blue lights rapidly
approaching in my rear view mirror.....but still a long ways behind us.....
The guy who pulled up on my right, driving a company truck (instead of his own car),
leaned out the window and said: "What do you think you're driving a Ferrari? I chose
not to reply as I left the line in my normal law-abiding manner.
Has anyone seen a black carbon fiber Audi in Pinellas County? Was it a special
limited edition? Any idea of the history of this car? Any body know the guy?
Positive comments and information are welcome. Thanks,-Bob
