All I know is whenever I take the distributor off and put a new seal on it and for some stupid reason have to remove it again that seal leaks in the area you are speaking of.

Also on that left hand front corner there is a corner piece of the valve cover gasket seal that you will see sticking out.

When you put the valve cover gasket on it helps make sure everything is very clean and very dry and we use a little hondabond in some areas of the gasket as well.

I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.
