I'm thinking about trying to drum up some interest in a "midnight economy run". Maybe a Friday night... meet up at a 24-hour convenience store, fill-up, drive somewhere a couple hours away, stop for a few, then come back to the same place and fill up again before heading someplace for breakfast. Could be fun.

Of course, last time I did something like that, only 2 cars showed up... and I was one of them.
