That guys been road racing longer than you've been alive. The car isn't setup to drag race. Its got a very grabby clutch, low profile slicks that are designed to not get hot quickly, stiff suspension with practically no suspension travel etc. Don't forget that since he caters to the late model F-Body crowd, he was probably running the drags as some type of exhibition event, in which case he did what he was supposed to do, wow the crowd.
I understand all of that completely and I see you convieniantly left out the last part of my post where I do recognize the car isn't setup for drag racing at all. Still kind of weird that the car will spin the tires like that on a course coated with rubber when it's on a road course it grips nicely, or so it seems.
If you did notice I didn't say anything like "this guy can't drive worth a shit" ... I said it SEEMS like he doesn't know how to roll on the throttle ... obviously I don't know what went on in the car is why I said what I said.
