NT,
+1 on the great show part.
There were about 125 cars......pretty good for a first time attempt!
DJ Ed Cullins does a lot of shows around Hillsborough County
and he artfully stepped from song to song to include music from
all car cultures. No matter what you were showing, he had the
kind of music that you were used to hearing. He will be DJing another
charity open show later on in March. keep checking local events.
Team Hatchimoto had jackets and hats for their club and one of their
members won Best Wheels. It was the same car that he won best lighting with
several meets ago. Team Hatchimoto almost got best club. A shout out to the
"Hello Kitty" Honda with pink wheels........
Team Styles wore matching club t-shirts and took best Club. One of their members
won Best Import. At the end they got everyone together for a group picture. Coming
soon they will be putting on a show/meet at a Toyota Dealer to be named, once
negotiations are completed.
Both Team Hatchimoto and Team Styles have a variety of car types.
I see that as a good way of building a larger club instead of restricting it to
one kind of car only.
Brooklyn Downshifters built their club by having different types of cars and
maybe that is a way to go. I was at a meet/show/fundraiser for Domestic
Violence Center about a week ago where the payout for the 50-50 drawing
was $220 cash!..... and one of their members won it! He mentioned that the
Downshifters are holding their own charity event in a few weeks.
.......and he donated the whole $220 to the Domestic Violence center!
Here's a shout out to DJ hallucin8 and Civic99 from the Thursday night Cul De Sac Crew
over in Brando-Seffner. I saw you guys........
