Option two:
If a person considers swapping the items mentioned in post #5, as a unit, my concern
would be whether the rear curve of the new fenders and the front curve of the door
match up......as well as whether the wheel well openings are centered on the wheel centers.
....and is the car width the same on both cars or do I need to make brackets to compensate
for width differences.
Internally, under the new front end, my concern would be whether the new fender bolt holes
match the old fender bolt holes or would I need to make some brackets to make up the difference.
I would also carefully measure the position of hood hinges and bolt holes to determine if I needed
to make new hinges or re-drill the original hinges.
I would also check to see if the rubber bumpers/cushions under the new front hood edges
would be compatible with the original positions.-Bob
