Who really cares? Trucks=Suck. I'd be much more excited if they announced a car application for a derivative of their F1 V10. Honda is going to prove it can build a big turd that can't turn...yay. 
Since trucks are a huge seller I think many people care and since most auto makers make huge profits on trucks I am suprised it took Honda so long to enter the market.
