I recommend turning the ignition on, not the engine... (double click)

Then use a voltmeter & test all the 3 wires running to the tps sensor. Test these wires WITH THE plug plugged into the tps sensor...

The middle red wire should give you 4.5-5 volts at wide open throttle.

Your best solution is a voltmeter & a helms manual.
