actually the gunrack is there to MAKE it legal. Leaving a loaded rifle/shotgun in the back seat is legal but it isnt very safe. The rack is safe.

I used to tote the Shotgun AND my Romanian AK47 up there but I was advised by a police friend that even tho the rifle was LEGAL it would draw attention and that wasnt something I want.
