I wouldn't do a twin cam in a hard body. I'd go all out w/ a tri cam. Those things are beastly. Stock block puts out an easy 363HP and believe it or not, the torque is 413 foot pounds. I'm putting a dry dump oil pan on for a reserve when mine comes in, (just bought a block last week for $500) for added heat consolidation. Sweetness!

yes, it would be a decent swap, if you really want a dual cam. But don't the 86's already have the single cam KA24 in them? I'm pretty sure they do. In that case, you'd basically be busting your ass for not a lot of improvement. But, it has been done, and I'm pretty sure it has been pretty well documented. The only advantage I would see is if you were wanting to boost it with more readily available parts, but even at that, the single cam does have off the shelf parts that you can use.
