Pics from PBOC Daytona Prototype testing
So last weekend I spent a week testing and getting my driver comfortable in his Crawford Daytona Prototype at the Pboc Winterfest. We Broke in a new motor tried a few different set-ups, but more or less we just wanted to knock the cobbwebs off of the customer who has not drove in over a year. We had an issue with him timing his Downshifts correctly and I ended up having to drive up to Allegra Motorsports so I could rebuild the Gearbox. Due to the mis-shifts he wore out 3,4,5th gear 1 shift fork 1 Dog ring and the shift barrel. These parts all together new would have been over $7500 dollars. But the box was rebuilt that night and I drove over to Sebring at 4 A.M. to make the first session. I have to thank Allegra for staying late for me and giving me a smoking deal on the parts and my buddy Bart Graham for all the help last weekend.
