Only since my name has been mentioned will I post here. In Jerry's defense he is really a good guy that sometime makes really bad decisions and or mistakes like anyone else.. The only thing I really see wrong with his situations is that in the end he doesn't completely make it up to people or make things right...

Info on me is I'm a poor black broke fucker with a wife and 3 kids that busts his ass for every penny he has and those who know me know this. So I have needed much help to get to where I am, Drew,Chris,Anthony,Zlatin "Z" have always been there to help get me where I am and never once expected anything in return even tho I offered. Jerry will help as well in his own way as long as he still comes out on top.

The situation mentioned... With much discussion on putting my car together with those involved it was settled that I would need an Evo ix transmission with a 411 final drive to get me through the 1/4 in 4th. Jerry said he had and sold me the Evo transmission that he had believed to be an Evo ix trans. I bought the final drive because Jerry swore by it being a ix, so at this point I spent 900 for trans, then another 960 on the FD. I then needed a clutch and was sold on the exedy tripple by Chris "Ryu"... I told Jerry about it and he went on about it being a horribly noisy clutch and I would hate it. I needed what he had, so I spent another 900 with Jerry and bought his RPS clutch that supposedly had low mileage on it.

Now we get to the issues... The clutch slipped the very first time I got on it with any real power, Jerry says I got oil on it. I told him there was no oil anywhere to be found on the clutch, he stuck by it,ok. So after a while of driving it seemed to stick once it was hot, so I had the car tuned further and it help for that... I was happy, but during the tuning we noticed that the car not only accelerated slow for the power it made but wouldn't spin tires no matter what we did.. Chris immediately went detective and started studying logs and found that the car was hitting 142mph at 8k rpm in 4th... Something is wrong, this isn't an evo ix trans. We brought it to Jerry's attention and he swore once again that Chris was wrong and it was a ix....

Situation 2..... After a race with a car making 150 less hp, I realized that I could not shift above 7k rpm for some reason, so even with being locked out of every gear I still managed to keep the other car in the same amount of lengths that he jumped me out of the hole by leaving early, yea I'm stupid for chasing, sorry it was my first race and I believed I could run him down. I was wrong, the car didn't have the acceleration needed to reel him in and pass him before the end of the race... Then I knew I had to do something...

Solution
I said enough of this bs and Ant and I ripped the trans out and brought it to Jerry to remove the FD and go back to stock... While Jerry inspected the clutch he said it still looks new and sorry that he sold me a clutch that wouldn't work with my power or shift where I needed it... I thought to myself, at least he apologized that was nice... He then later offered me $200 to buy it back out of the $900 I gave him for something that didn't work... Not so nice

He then went through my trans and said it was hurt, it needed new forks, I think rails, and syncros with a good gasoline cleaning. I thought that would be free given the circumstances, but I was charged $325 and was told that it's half of what he normally charges for the work done... That was nice that he was helping me out! I then had him rebuild my T-case and upgrade the bolts. Being that my financial situation isn't the best since I had to buy a new $2,000 dollar clutch which I should have bought in the first place when I had the $$$, I traded him the clutch for the work. That was nice of him. He noticed while he was rebuilding the trans that it was actually... okay Ryu, you were right.... An evo 8 trans that was sold to me... Evo 8 trans + 411 = 200mph + trans, I would need over 1000hp to use that, now wonder why my car was so slow..... I again received an apology, that again was nice...

The FD that came out the trans had some small chips on the tips of the teeth, nothing to really worry about, so I sold it. The guy who bought it freaked, so I told him that I would replace it, I called Shep, he said send it in, I sent it in and Shep laughed and said it was mint and wouldn't sell me a replacement as nothing was wrong with it and cleaned it up. Shep said the reason for the chipped teeth was due to incorrect install, Jerry disagrees. What can I do... Oh well

The thing is that I wouldn't have even bought it if I knew I had an Evo 8 trans instead of what I supposedly purchased, now my paypal account is locked up, and all for something I didn't need.

Oh well, at least Jerry apologized to me, and I'm sure he would have apologized to Orlando too given the opportunity.
He isn't a bad guy, I got into a bind and needed some money, he took my turbo as collateral and loaned it to me. He looks out for me when he can I guess...

So Give him a chance to apologize and make it all better people. No need for this to turn into a bash fest.

Thanks again Jerry for all your apologies,
Miguel
