This is a quote from another message board I post on...
We just dynoed SER Spec Turbo's car today. The car laid down a best of 289 h.p. and 273 ft. lbs. with boost set at 8 p.s.i. Driveability is excellent with just a couple minor bugs to work out. This is not the only car in our shop and we have worked as hard as we possibly could to get this customers car back to him and to get this kit finished and ready for production. We will release specifications and pricing info as soon as it is available.
The first run generated 260 h.p. and 260 ft.lbs. the last one, several runs later, generated the 289 h.p. and 273 ft.lbs. These numbers are at the wheels on a DynoJet dyno and at 8 #'s of boost. I don't believe that this is a safe power level for this engine, based on the weak connecting rods, but I also don't feel that we should need to run lower than 8 p.s.i. There may be an engine build in the near future!
