I've been looking into Flocking spray too. Its cool, but how would you keep that clean??

I am sold after checking out the results acheived in the following link, so I'm going to so the SEM texture coat method. Though i dont think i would use epoxy for the fix...something more flexible would be more desirable I think. The key is the top coat applied to the dash after an extra step of sanding the SEM coating. I believe that would take care of your issues with inconsistency David. My Dad once said (and i'm sure a few other Dads too) elbow grease is free.
