well guys this is an uphill battle for sure. or two steps forward one step back. been having misfires today just cruising. traced it down to number two cylinder. turns out that injector stops firing. turning car off and let it sit for a few minutes and the misfire will be gone. then comes back after a few minutes driving. pretty much the classic p300 misfire. only problem is car has never had this. 99% rule applied. I am tapping into that injector to get my signal for the secondary injectors. so I fear now that is the issue. been trying to avoid spending 250 on a proper injector driver box but i guess it has to happen. worse than that I am not really happy with injecting in the IC pipe. the A/F varies too much due to injectors being so far from head. and the worst of it all is car stalls after hard pull and coast. the injectors are cut at that point but because there is so much left over fuel in manifold it takes too long for mixture to lean out. causing overly rich condition and stalling. no real way to compensate for it. so I have decided after all to install injectors in the manifold where they should be. I have spent many hours just looking for a practical way to get a second set of injectors on the car. it has to be clean looking, reliable and easy to service. I have finally come up with awesome solution. will start on it this week. going to be quite a bit of work as I want to move fuel tank to other side of car where the fuel lines will be shortest. this will require a second modification that I have been wanting for quiet some time. removing the antilock brakes which dont work anyway.
