After a few weeks of searching we picked up our engine.

90k mile 96 explorer longblock
Since then I tore it down and put in Summint brand rod and main bearings (hope they work ok)
Mahle Plasma rings
new std oil pump
yada yada

Now for the good stuff.
I personally ported the Gt40s after having them checked. Installed a budget spring package and had a basic valve job done.
Also gasket matched the lower intake
E303 cam.

Nothing too special just a good clean up.
