i highly doubt that hes tested a stock bypass valve successfully showing that it has a gain on a dyno over an aftermarket..

When he talks about the bov not opening under anything but WOT.. he forgets that u can adjust the springs on bov's (most of them) and get around that.....

He also forgets to mention that the stock mr2 bypass valve is made of plastic materials, and can decide to come apart under higher boost....

I very much doubt that besides the sound that there is any performance difference at all during daily driving at stock boost levels....

How do i know this? I drove MR2 moogies mr2 around plenty before and after putting the recirculating Type H from turbo XS on his car.. both vented and recirc'd... i didnt notice any "loss of power", so even if it was there it might be 1hp.....

I dunno, personally to me metal > plastic stuff..
