Well yes trap speed reflects power and weight. But IMO and in my experience with evos when the are over the 650 range they have all been running mid to high nines with 1.4 to 1.5 60'. But those car all had drivrs with alot of seat time.I also know that you will never see Miguel at the track..so guess we won't find out unless u drive it there without him knowing. Lol
The only Evo's that I have seen running mid 9's in the 650whp range are light weight borderline race cars (under 2,900lbs) with excellent drivers. Mellon Tuning went 10.3@139mph w/700whp dynojet, Fathouse went 10.1@152mph w/ an estimated 800whp, David Buschur could only get his Bad Bish to run 10.5 with himself in the driver seat of a setup that already went 9.0 with a professional driver..... These are just a couple of examples of high horsepower 9 second capable cars that haven't broken into the 9's even though the power is there. Horsepower is only half the battle to attaining low ET's at the track.
Getting Miguel to the track will be a bit of a challenge since he is mainly a street guy. Perhaps he will surprise us all and get it to the track early next year with the new clutch. I'd certainly like to see it.
