So after my car warms up, in neutral the idle is 3000+ rpm, but as soon as I let off the clutch and hit the gas, it goes back down to 1000-1500, which is what my car usually idles at. As soon as I hit the clutch for whatever reason, it jumps right back up to 3000. Unpluged the IAC and it does the same thing, not sure what that means. New wires, plugs, etc. Advanced the distributor and it went back down for about 30 seconds, and then went right back up.
Any ideas?
Supposed to start a new job in the am, and have no other way.
