2000 mustang 3.8 fuel delivery problem
my moms boyfriend has a 2000 mustang with the 3.8 liter engine. He said while he was driving the car started bogging on him and then eventually died and now wont start at all. i told him it might just be a clogged fuel filter so we just replaced that to mark it off the list, see if it was the problem and replace it anyways just because. still no start and i dont think i hear the fuel pump priming, but his car is pretty loud trying to turn over so its not easy to hear.
My question is do any of you think it might be an electrical thing? only problem with that is i dont have a voltmeter to test anymore.
Also if anybody was close to largo with a voltmeter so we could test if its getting power and would be able to look at it itd be greatly appreciated. i just dont want to go and replace the pump and then find out like the fpdm isnt getting power.
Thanks, Donovan
