Damn it Ive yet to see a set up close and in person. Hopefully this summer if I get the cash together Ill buy a set for the new block.
As for the J&S if youre going for a stand-alone ECU Id still get one. Sure you can tune the hell out of it and have some perfect fuel/ignition curves but theres always a chance of malfunction odd environment or user error and the J&S will retard enough timing to save your block. It might not seem like you need the unit but its always better to be safe than sorry. But then again Im a paranoid kinda guy.
And ya if you talk to Larry be prepared to know what you want. Hes a great guy but also hes quite a talker.
