I could slap a turbo on one of those 1.9's and pull 200whp out of it easy. Then they wouldn't be considered "slow" I bet lol.

Still interesting that Ford used the slowest POS 4cylinder they made for that car. They should've used the Escort GT 1.8 instead. Maybe that was too much power? .
