ok ya i should've been more specific in what i was talking about, i didnt mean to use custom domed. i just know everyone and there brother when doing high compression d series wants to use p29 pistons, which have a high dome, and give NO clearance on a y8 head. Not much on a z6 neither, i'd never use them personally. but if you look at my build im using the other d16a1 pistons (code pg6) which are more of a flat top and they bump compression almost as high and give plenty of big room for a big cam if thats what your looking for like i am.

but thats why i asked the op if this is for just a fun dd or a race application. Cause like you said theres plenty of different combos of stock pistons, cams, heads, IM, etc. to have a fun dd
