Doesn't just happen in the U.S. people all over the world take advantage of the system. I guess you take the good with the bad. There's likely a lot more bad now with the financial status of the government than what there should be.

My brother is one of those such people. Has 9 kids, with 4 different mothers. Pays NO child support. The state gives him money for housing, $600/mth for food, spending money, free healthcare, and a nice fat tax check around $10,000 or so every year.

The way the welfare system is now, they have created incentive to have kids so you don't have to work. It needs to be changed, but likely won't.

In the same sense the few million dollars in fraud is completely trumped by the billions our government wastes if you ask me.
