The clunking noise is common with all clutch type LSDs. Partially because most people run the wrong fluid and the clutches are not slipping. Yes, you are correct it is an aggressive LSD, but can be daily driven with the correct fluid and mostly once the fluid warms up.I am speaking from first hand experience with a clutch type LSD. It pulls straight as an arrow. No sudden lane changes under full power.

What is your contact info? Some people don't like to PM back and forth. Also, is it out of the trans now? How about the diff bearings?
