you can tell by quality if you pay attention. blue or red "nardi" lettering is a dead giveaway i've read. the leather is usually poor quality. Also has lots of flex when you apply any pressure.

i can send you a picture of what happens when you put any pressure on a fake nardi. I was given a fake and wasn't told about it and it broke just the other day.
