he did say you can do more to a Civic, and they look better. Not that you can do more to make one look better.
Meaning, there are more off the shelf parts ready to bolt on to improve a civic, whereas everything for a corolla is either ricey ebay stuff, or stuff you have to fabricate yourself. And to top it off, a civic looks better than a corolla.
