Like I said I don't plan on doing it myself..
and I was actually wondering what engine I could put in there not necessarily what I should do as far as performance mods, although thank you to those that suggested everything.
I am looking for a say the prelude engine but maybe something with more HP, say a new infiniti G35 or something.. one with 280 hps

my point is that you know NOTHING about cars... and you have displayed this... and i am NOT bashing or flaming you for that... we were all there once... but you need to learn some shit before you mod your car... you need to know how it all works so you can make the choices yourself with logic and not have to come on a tech forum and ask the same old questions... go to
www.hoestuffworks.com and start typing in motor shit... read that and read threw any arcives you can find on hondas... trust me there is plenty out there for you to read...
