Ok so its easy to understand the basics of turbo's, bov's and what not. But what other stuff is needed? I mean widebands, boost controllers, ecu's, tuning... what else goes into turboing other then just the basic crap everyone says you need. Not talking about cheap ebay kits with just the basics.
Been thinking about mildly boosting my EM1 for a while. What worries me is being OBD2, what ECU to run, chipping, all the stuff is new to me. Anyone shed a little light on it? What all must be done to turbo a car reliably other then the basic turbo kit parts. Mainly an EM1
What if I run into a dizzy problem, or any other problem where I have to limp home. Does being on boost cause even more problems when trying to limp your car home (making car not even driavable)
