Than add the rear end, drive shaft, and all other parts. Plus he had 2 metal gas tanks and not the plastic tank that comes in the car. I believe he said the car was about 2600 lbs.
i have to disagree here. a fully gutted ek hatch with a honda motor in it weighs around 1700 lbs. the awd, heavier motor and trans, tcase, etc. probably weighs no more the 500 extra lbs. so around 2300lbs give or take, over 500hp....is a 9 second car all day. he made over 600lb of torque at like 3000rpms. you're lucky to get an evo down to 3000lbs thats still streetable. then you need around 600hp+....then youre pushing the limit on the stock internals. can't compare apple to oranges, but i would have had my money on miguel.
